Amber came to visit this weekend so she wins as our first house guest in Vegas! We made Thanksgiving dinner, played some corn hole, watched the Top 100 Videos of the 80's on VH1, went to Red Rock Canyon, watched the Cats play football and basketball, played games, and checked out a new bar. It was an awesome long weekend! Here are some pics of all the fun.
Mmmm... turkey, dressing balls, gravy, butter beans, mashed potatoes and cranberries! 
Red Rock Canyon was really pretty. It's only 15 miles west of the city and there are lots of hiking trails. We did a short one that proved how out of shape I am.
We were hoping to see wild burros or orange goats but no sightings this time. Luckily we also didn't see any rattle snakes, triantulas or scorpions.

Looks like a great time. Heard about the dialing and texting though. . .not sure why my phone didn't work that time? Hmm. Must need to get a different model, one that rings when friends are dialing and texting. . .
